Left Leg of Exodia

Play Japanese Yu-Gi-Oh! online!

A quick note:
Please do not host any files or link directly to them.  If you would like to link to Left Leg of Exodia's Download page from your site, you are more than welcome to do so.

You can now download the excellent Japanese Yu-Gi-Oh! Apprentice patch here, courtesy of Majin Fei.

To download Apprentice, click here.

How to setup the patch:

1. Download Apprentice.
2. Download the patch files to a folder other than the Apprentice folder.  If your system does not automatically do it for you, you will be required to unzip the files.
3. Locate the Apprentice folder and open it.
4. Locate the folder that you downloaded the patch files to and open it up (I will refer to this folder as the "Patch folder")
5. You should now have the Apprentice folder open, as well as the Patch folder, so that you can drag files between folders.
6. The Apprentice folder should contain various files and 3 folders entitled "Decks", "Graphix" and "Sets".
7. Drag the file named "Expan" from the Patch folder to the Apprentice folder.  This will replace the "Expan" file that was already in the Apprentice folder.
8. Drag the file named "Format" from the Patch folder to the Apprentice folder.  This will replace the "Format" file that was already in the Apprentice folder.
9. Drag the file named "Rules" from the Patch folder to the Apprentice folder.  This will replace the "Rules" file that was already in the Apprentice folder.
10. Now, open the folder titled "Sets", which is located in the Apprentice folder.
11. Drag the file named "cardinfo" from the Patch folder to the "Sets" folder.  This will replace the "cardinfo" file that was already in the "Sets" folder.
12. Open up the Apprentice application and go to "File", "Deck Editor".
13. If you've done Steps 1-11 correctly, you should see a list of Yu-Gi-Oh cards pop up.
14. Use Apprentice normally, only now you play with Yu-Gi-Oh! cards.
15. Once you have a deck made, you can play people online!

Updates:
These are all of the updates that have been made to the patch.  To use them, just replace the old files with the new files in the update.  It's that easy!

Finally, a message from the creator of the patch:
If you have any questions, I'll be more than happy to help you.
My E-mail is adamrydell@yahoo.com or instant message me on the MSN Messenger as adamrydell989@hotmail.com.

On another note, I really pushed to get this patch released as soon as I could.  The process in making this patch is very repetitive and it's very easy to make mistakes.  Please let me know of anything that you notice wrong about a card.   Whether it's the level, affinity, sub-type, atk/def, etc.  I'm sure there will be errors all over the place.  So let me know about them so I can make the changes when I make an update.  I will release new updates of the patch everytime a new set comes out.

Hopefully, in the future, I can make a sealed deck generator.  Right now, it's for Magic: the Gathering and it will be hard to do one for Yu-Gi-Oh since it has rares of different rarities.

If you have any suggestions about features you'd like to see in the patch, let me know.  Maybe I'll be able to do something about it.  I hope you like the patch!  Have fun!
