The easiest way to translate your own cards

With the update of Konami of Japan's website, their Card List is now in a format that makes it easy for anyone to use!  This section will be dedicated to teaching you how to use the Card List to translate your own cards!  How cool is that?!  By the way, make sure you read the Identifying Cards section first; it will probably make this section much easier to understand.

Step 1: Determine what set your card is in.
This is easy enough to do.  Look at the code on your card and match it up with the list of sets in the Identifying Cards section.  Once you know the set, proceed.

Step 2: In the Card List section of Konami's Site, click the set.
Once you know the set, you can select it from the list of sets.  A few of them are only named in Japanese, so you can either use the Babel Fish tool on the right to translate the set names, or use the following mini-guide to help you along your way:

The sets are divided into sections, which are these, in order:
Boosters Series 1(Legend of Blue-Eyes to Booster Chronicle)
Boosters Series 2(Magic Ruler to Pharaonic Guardian)
Premium Packs(3, 4, 5)
Structure Decks(Yugi, Jounouchi, Kaiba)
Promo Cards
Boosters Series 3(New Ruler, Descent of Union)
Duelist Legacy Series(1, 2)

Choose your set, and then proceed.

Step 3: Find your card.
The cards will be listed numerically.  Locate the card that you are looking for using its code.  The Japanese name will be listed to the right, followed by its monster class(or Trap or Magic), elemental affinity, and its level.  You can use the tool at the right to translate them all.

Step 4: If you are lucky, dig deeper.
Some of the more recent cards will not have any links, but the names of many of the cards will take you to a page where you can see a picture of the card and read the card's abilities.  This is very nice when you want to know how to recognize a card that you have heard of before.  If the card has abilities, then you can copy the ability text(it will be the large box on the bottom) and paste it in the tool on the right.  Boom!  In a single blow, you will have translated your card.  Good job! ^_^

Now, Konami has just added almost every card they have created to their database, and knowing Konami, that means that they will soon be adding pictures, text, and links to all of their cards.  Within time, you will be able to translate every card using this method.
