Left Leg of Exodia

What you need to play:

Dungeon Master x 1 - The Dungeon Master is a figure that represents the player.  The Dungeon Master also has a corresponding card.  All Dungeon Masters are the same for all players.  The Dungeon Master's card has 3 LP, 10 Attack, and 0 Defense.

Dungeon Dice x 15 - There's basically no replacement for these dice, so make sure you get the real thing.  I do not think that players can share them in the game.  The player must have a pool of 15 dice that are for his use.  However, players are not allowed to have any more than 3 Level 4 dice.

Monster Figures x 10 - Both players need to have 10 monsters.  Of course, players will also need to corresponding Monster Cards.  At the present, I do not know if there is any limit on the number of a specific monster that you can play with.  If you want to play it safe, just use one of each monster until I clear this up.

Playing Field x 1 - This is the only item that both players can share; obviously, this is because both players battle on the same field.  It is a 13 by 19 grid field.  Each square should be the size of one of the dice's faces.  The grid goes longwise like a sports field, and on each player's starting edge, in the middle of the shorter sides, there is a single white square.  This square is where the Dungeon Master sits.

Crest Counters - These are used to keep track of your amounts of various Crests.  The Starter Set comes with a counter similar to an abacus, but you can use anything you want to keep track of this, even paper and a pencil.  Just make sure you distinguish which type of Crest you are recording.  Players are not allowed to have more than 10 of any kind of Crest, so you will only ever be dealing with a maximum of 50 Crest.

Damage Counters - These are used to keep track of the damage on your monsters.  You probably won't need that many.  20 or so should be enough.  Also, you can use normal dice instead if you want to.

All of the items listed to the left come with the Dungeon Dice Starter Set.  However, it is difficult to get a Starter Set, so the items will be explained so that players are able to make adequate replacements for them.  You might not understand this section fully until you read the rules, so if you don't get something, don't worry about it and come back later.
